We’d like to welcome you to our fourth league fixture of the season this Sunday 13th September at 2pm. We are home at Walton Hall Park, currently sitting third in the table after a win, a loss and another win. In the table, we’ve got Rugby Borough and Huddersfield ahead of us and we sit one place above Stoke City thanks to goal difference. It’s shaping up to be a very exciting season and we hope you can join us as we seek out another three points at home.
Our last league outing was a 4–1 win away at Hull City. The game was goalless at half-time, but Feds found another gear after the break, with Chantelle Thompson opening the scoring on 59 minutes with a header from an Evie Smith corner. Just eight minutes later, Georgia Walters found Jess Brady with a brilliant ball to double the lead, before Walters got on the scoresheet herself after another Smith delivery. Madison Bouggess then came off the bench and made an immediate impact, setting up Henna Butcher to make it four. Hull pulled one back in stoppage time, but Feds had already done more than enough to take all three points.
Evie Smith (sponsored by Assure Management) was named Player of the Match after contributing two assists.
Feds now have 11 goals from their opening three league fixtures!

We are a friendly bunch, so if there’s anything you need there are volunteers on-hand to assist you.

THE OPPOSITION – West Bromwich Albion
This is West Bromwich Albion Women’s fourth season in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division, with the club continuing to build its women’s team within the wider Albion setup. They have established themselves in the division over the past few years, with their league position improving season-on-season.
Albion finished sixth last season, their highest league finish in almost a decade. They also enjoyed a couple of good cup runs, reaching the semi-finals of the FA WNL Cup and the fourth round of the FA Cup.
There is a change in the dugout for the start of this campaign, with manager Siobhan Hodgetts-Still currently on maternity leave. Her assistant Charlie Fripp has stepped into the role during her absence, having already been part of the coaching setup at Albion since last season, while Hodgetts-Still remains connected to the team ahead of her return.
Phoebe Warner is one to know, having finished last season as Albion’s leading goalscorer. Midfielder Monique Robinson also made an impression after joining during the campaign, being voted Players’ Player of the Season by her teammates and picking up the club’s Goal of the Season award for her strike against Leeds United in the FA Cup.
Albion have taken three points from their opening three league matches this season. They began with defeats against Stoke City and Middlesbrough before beating Peterborough United 3–1 at home.

Seating – 500 unreserved seats are available, unreserved standing is also available (capacity of the ground is approx. 2,200)
General atmosphere – very friendly, volunteers are on-hand for assistance and information, music is played through speakers in the stand pre-match, match-day announcements will keep you in the know with squad news.
