September match day tickets are now on sale for our three home fixtures. First we have two league ties – West Bromwich Albion on Sunday 13th and Middlesbrough FC Women on Sunday 20th. Then we’ve got Liverpool FC Women PGA in our final group stage fixture of the FA WNL cup on Sunday 27th.
If you do fancy shooting over to AFC Fylde for our only away of the month on Sunday 6th at Kellamergh Park, you can grab a ticket for this too from the home side directly. If you can’t join us, we’ll be keeping you updated over on X.
No midweek matches this month, all on Sundays at 2pm. Get those dates in your diaries! Or you can actually add all Feds WNL league and cup fixtures to your calendar automatically from the FA WNL website by hitting ‘subscribe to fixtures’ on this page here. Handy bit of kit, that.

August has been action-packed! After welcoming ten new singings, we wrapped up a great pre-season and headed straight into a 5–1 home victory over Derby County, with five different goalscorers on the scoresheet. Then came a 3–2 defeat at Peterborough, where we found ourselves 3–0 down, battling through the entire second half with ten players and, very heroically, scoring two goals before the final whistle put a stop to our big comeback.
Next up was Chorley at home in our first FA WNL Cup group-stage game. We were 4–0 up when an incoming thunderstorm suspended the match in the 78th minute, with proceedings quickly abandoned. The lightning-themed playlist that was very swiftly delivered while we waited for the referee to officially call it also deserves an honourable mention – exceptional work.
Three very dramatic games for three very different reasons. Never a dull moment! Let’s see what September has got up its sleeve – and make sure you come along with us for the ride.
