Rachael Norney returns to the Northern Ireland squad for their up and coming Euro 2025 qualifying games. The Feds number 1 was last in the squad in December 2023 and after playing a big part in Feds early season form has earned her return to international football. Northern Ireland travel to face Croatia at the Stadion Varteks in Varazdin next Friday (25 October) before facing them again at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Tuesday 29 October.
Defender Mayzee Davies is once again included in the Wales squad who edge closer to the UEFA Womenβs EURO 2025 finals in Switzerland next summer. They’ll play a two-leg semi-final play-off against Slovakia in Poprad (Friday 25 October) and the Cardiff City Stadium (29 October). Mayzee’s been in excellent club form and will be looking to carry that over in to the internationals.
There is also Wales U19 call ups for goalkeeper Cadi Doran and forwards Olivia Francis and Emily Cole who will face Portugal in an international double header.
As a result our Away fixture to Nottingham Forest (27th October) will be postponed with the rescheduled date to be confirmed in due course.
Congratulations to the quintet on their international call ups.
