I started playing football at the age of 6 for a local grassroots team called Upton FC. After a few years I was invited for trials at Everton due to being scouted at a community football event. I was very reluctant to attend the trials as I didn’t want to leave Upton, but I clearly enjoyed it as I spent the next 6 years at the academy! Developing my abilities as a full back, winger, and occasionally center back, I progressed from under 13’s to first team football where I made my debut at age 17. This was in the same year I was made captain for the under 17’s team.
I made the decision to leave Everton following this season due to gaining scholarship offers in the USA, where I was able to play football everyday, as well as receiving a top class education for free. I attended Fordham University in New York where I was named defensive MVP and a 2 year captain. Following a season ending injury in 2021/22 I stepped back from football upon my return to the UK to focus on getting healthy and enjoying playing again.
Liverpool Feds reached out to me at beginning of 2023. I knew many of the team due to coming from the same academy background, and I was ready for the challenge of playing at a high level again. Joining towards the later end of the season and fighting to stay up in Tier 3, I hit the ground running. Playing in the last 5 games, I scored 3 goals and got 2 assists playing predominantly as a wing back. We finished the end of the season strong and I’m really excited to see what my first full season at Liverpool feds will bring!
